Der Workshop macht Methoden und Wege erfahrbar, die das Theater Expedition Metropoils (ExMe) in und für sein Verständnis von Community Kunst erkundet und erprobt hat.
Der Ansatz und die Praxis einer ‚Kunst der sozialen Versammlung‘ haben gezeigt, wie Empowerment und Selbstwirksamkeit für ein ‚besseres Leben‘ durch kulturelles Handeln, durch Ko-Kreation und Teilhabe, durch Begegnung und Dialog gestaltet werden können – auch in Zeiten turbulenter lokaler und globaler Krisen und Differenzen.
Von einem thematischen Impuls ausgehend wollen wir den Weg gemeinsamen explorativen Gestaltens beispielhaft skizzieren und dabei Einblicke nehmen in den reichhaltigen Fundus künstlerischer Expeditionen des Theater Expedition Metropolis, die im Untertitel immer schon hießen: „Suche nach einer anderen Stadt“.
Der Workshop richtet sich an Praktizierende, Lehrende, Lernende, Interessierte.

The workshop will make it possible to experience methods and ways that the theater Expedition Metropoils (ExMe) has explored and tested in and for its understanding of community art.
The approach and practice of an ‚art of social assembly‘ have shown how empowerment and self-efficacy for a ‚better life‘ can be shaped through cultural action, co-creation and participation, through encounter and dialogue – even in times of turbulent local and global crises and differences.
Starting from a thematic impulse, we want to illustrate a path of joint explorative creation, thereby gain insights into the rich pool of artistic expeditions of Theater Expedition Metropolis, which have been subtitled ‚The search for another city‘ from the beginning.
The workshop is aimed at practitioners, teachers, learners, interested parties, and the general public.
The workshop will take place at the location of the theater in the old disinfection facility Kreuzberg (in the immediate vicinity of the conference venue) and is barrier-free accessible. Regarding accessibility, please refer to the information on the entire congress.

Der Workshop findet statt am Standort des Theaters in der alten Desinfektionsanstalt Kreuzberg (unmittelbare Nachbarschaft zum Tagungsort) und ist barrierearm zugänglich. Bezüglich Barrierefreiheit bitte die Angaben zum gesamten Kongress beachten.
