Sara ist eine in Berlin lebende DJane. Sie wurde in Bangladesch geboren und wuchs in Dänemark auf, bevor sie nach Deutschland zog. Sie ist eine leidenschaftliche Hip-Hop-Liebhaberin mit großem Respekt für diese Kultur. Sara legt alles auf, was mit der Geschichte der Rap-Musik zu tun hat, von der Zeit, bevor die ersten Rap-Tracks aufgenommen wurden, bis hin zu aktuellen Variationen des Genres – UK Garage, Disco, Electro, Booty / Miami Bass, Grime.

In Vorträgen und Workshops gibt Sara ihr Wissen und ihre Fähigkeiten nach den Prinzipien “sharing is caring“ / “Each one, teach one” weiter. Technisch versiert wie sie ist, war sie Tour- und Stage-DJane für Devin The Dude, Rah Digga, Guilty Simpson, PhatKat, Yarah Bravo und viele mehr und ist derzeit mit Älice auf Tour.

Seit 2017 ist sie Mentorin des von ihr mitbegründeten DJ-Programms an der Positive School, einem Jugendzentrum in Sidi Moumen, Casablanca, in Marokko. Außerdem hat sie mehrere DJ-Workshops in Europa und Afrika gegeben und mehrere FLINT-DJs als Mentorin betreut.

Für Sara ist das Wichtigste am DJing, mit Menschen durch Musik in Kontakt zu kommen (nicht durch Sprachen). In den letzten zwei Jahrzehnten hat That Fucking Sara auf Festivals und in Clubs in ganz Europa und auf anderen Kontinenten gespielt.

Sara is Berlin based DJ. She was born in Bangladesh and grew up in Denmark before relocating to Germany. As passionate Hip Hop lover with huge respect for the culture as a whole. Sara plays everything related to the history of rap music starting from way before the first rap tracks were recorded up to current variations of the genre – UK garage, disco, electro, booty/miamibass, grime – you name it.

Trough lectures and workshops Sara shares her knowledge and skills after the principles “sharing is caring” / “Each one, teach one”. Technically skilled as she is, she has been a tour- and stage-dj for Devin The Dude, Rah Digga, Guilty Simpson, Phat Kat, Yarah Bravo and many more and is currently tour dj for Älice.

Since 2017 she has been mentoring the dj program which she also co-founded at Positive School, a youth centre in Sidi Moumen, Casablanca, Morocco. She has also done several DJ workshops in Europe and Africa and mentored several FLINTA DJs.

For Sara the most important thing about DJ-ing is to connect with people through music (not languages). During the last two decades That Fucking Sara has been playing festivals and clubs all over Europe and other continents.
